Vegas to Reno Part II
Vegas to Reno Part II
About 7 years ago I drove from Tahoe to Phoenix on this same route and I have always remembered this “adult building” as it was a mobile home surrounded by freestanding roman columns. While it always made me laugh I never had a photo of it so I had to stop and get a few.

Columns purchsed when Ceasers Tahoe was sold.

I found a few other interesting and oddball things on the trip south as well.

Who wants seafood in the middle of a landlocked desert?

What started as a race I was dreading turned into a fantastic, fun and successful adventure despite the long grueling dirty hours.

Many of my photos can be seen on Off-Road.com but a personal highlight is below.
One of my shots from mile 563 made it on to both of ESPN.com’s photos of the week galleries. I have had shots on ESPN before and I am always happy when it happens but this is the first time I have managed to get an off road shot on ESPN or any mainsteam sports media outlet. I have been a fan of this crazy obscure sport for 20 years and I am particularly proud to have my dirt work featured by the mainstream sports press, it is one of the highlights of my year.

As always thanks to the racers, crews, BITD staff and everyone else that has a hand is creating the crazy adventures I get to be a part of.
